We've been busy! This update brings a big set of new features and improvements to the site and the BISTracker addon. Here's everything that's new.
🏰 Dynamic Guild Platform
The site is no longer locked to a single guild. You can now set your own guild directly from your profile page — just type the realm and guild name, or click the ✦ button to automatically suggest the guild from your claimed main character.
Once your guild is set, the roster page will show your guild instead of the default one. Any guild can also be viewed publicly at /roster?realm=REALM&guild=SLUG — no login required.
📊 Guild Overview Page
Every guild now has a dedicated overview page at /guild?realm=REALM&slug=SLUG showing:
- Class composition — visual breakdown of which classes are in the guild
- Attunement progress — how many members are attuned per raid, shown as a percentage bar
- Recruitment snapshot — classes with fewer than 2 members flagged as open roles
📋 Guild BIS Demand
The new BIS Demand page (linked from the guild overview) aggregates all guild members' missing BIS items and shows which items are needed most across the guild, grouped by instance. Useful for planning short raids before a raid.
🔗 Alt Tracking
You can now link your alts to your main character from the profile page under Your Characters. On the roster, alts are hidden by default — toggle Show alts to reveal them, where they appear indented under their main.
⚔️ Character Page: Item Level & GearScore
The character page now shows your average item level and GearScore next to the Equipment heading. The GearScore uses the exact same formula as the TacoTip in-game addon — including per-slot modifiers for 2H weapons, trinkets, and ranged slots. Shirt and tabard are excluded from the calculation, matching in-game behaviour.
📦 BISTracker Addon on CurseForge
The BISTracker addon is now available on CurseForge for easy installation and automatic updates via the CurseForge client. All download buttons across the site now point there.
🛡️ Security Improvements
Several security improvements have been applied in the background: stricter Content Security Policy headers, session-based rate limiting on API endpoints, absolute session timeouts, and safer Lua string escaping in addon exports.
